Product Return Policy – E&P Technologies

Returning for Refund

If you are within 30 days of purchase you may return your Fingerprint Padlock for a full refund.  An RMA number is required. You are responsible for shipping costs to E&P Technologies.

Returning for Repair

If you are within your warranty period, you may return your Fingerprint Padlock for repair or replacement.  You are responsible for shipping costs to E&P Technologies.

Our goal is to ensure the user has access to a working unit as quickly as possible. Often issues can be resolved without having to return the Fingerprint Padlock (for example, with the detail explanation or instruction of operation). If the Fingerprint Padlock needs to be sent back to E&P Technologies, to facilitate a quick resolution we require an accurate description of the problem.

RMA Request Instructions

Follow these steps to obtain an RMA number:

1. Send the email with the purchasing date, order number, name, address, phone number and email address, unit model and correct serial number(s) alone with the reason of return.  No RMA number will be issued without any of these information.

All products received physical damaged, tempered, altered and abused will be refused and warranty voided and returned at customers’ expense.  Please ship the assigned RMA products only.

2. You will receive an email confirming receipt of the request and containing a Technical Support Ticket number.

IMPORTANT NOTE: this ticket number is not the RMA number.

If for repair/replacement, based on the details of the RMA request, the Support team will determine if there are any possible fixes that could be tried before shipping the unit back. If there are no remote solutions, Support will create an RMA ticket.

3. You will receive an email from E&P Technologies containing the RMA number and instructions on how to return the Fingerprint Padlock.

Shipping costs to our offices are your responsibility; shipping costs back are paid by E&P Technologies.

Repair Costs

If there are any repair costs involved, this information will be sent to you for approval prior to doing any repairs.

 

Return Shipping Instruction

1.    Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package to be returned. All products must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging.

2.    You must send the product back to us using UPS, FedEx or DHL.

5.    Keep your tracking number
Please keep the shipping carrier's Package Tracking Number as proof of your return.

Refund information

Once the return is received, please allow 7-10 business days for the credit to appear on your account. Credit will be issued to the payment method or credit card used for your original purchase only.
